Somers Town Women’s Group - Update

Let’s eat, share stories and skills and really make a difference!

We’re launching Somers Town Women’s Group and our first meeting will take place on Thursday 23 April. We’re looking for women and mothers, who have a passion for their local community and want to come together to share stories, ideas, knowledge and skills. As well as providing a safe environment for women to come together we also facilitate a way to learn new skills, improve health, fitness and well-being and get employment ready if looking for work.

The group will meet every Thursday from 9:30am – 12:30pm. If you‘re interested in joining the group, or volunteering to help us run it, please register.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2020 - UPDATE

A big thank you to CamdenGiving and the wonderful Grace Coffey and all the incredible women that
attended!

We heard about some wonderful projects, amazing stories and great insights in setting up our women’s group. We had a fun packed evening learning about craftism and getting to make our own fabric badge for our new women’s group. Check out some pictures from the event.

We’ll be launching the new women’s group on International Women’s Day on Monday 9th March. To celebrate the launch of Somers Town Women’s Group we’ve teamed up with Camden Giving and are inviting local women in Camden to come together with volunteers from local businesses.

Together we’ll share stories and create a range of banners / flyers / social media and promotional material for Somers Town Women’s Group. This is in celebration of both the day itself and how our new women’s group can support women in our community. An informal and creative event that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Light refreshments & crafting materials will be provided & we look forward to welcoming you to the event. To reserve free tickets for yourself / your colleagues / friends / volunteers / community members – CLICK HERE.
