IMPORTANT NOTICE: Weekly Coronavirus Update

We wanted to give you weekly updates about Urban Community Projects services in light of the current Covid-19 outbreak. Following recent government recommendations, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all our in-person services until further notice. This includes groups, activities and face-to-face meetings. We feel that this is the best way to safeguard the health of staff and volunteers and those we come into contact with.

We want to reassure you that we will continue to provide support in other ways. We will be offering a telephone and email based service to start this week, whilst developing other services in partnership with STCA in response to the ongoing situation and to local people’s urgent needs.

We know that this may be an anxious time for our staff and the people we work with, so please be assured that Urban Community Projects is still here for you despite these changes. We will be calling our volunteers and clients to provide Support & Wellbeing checks and encourage you to continue to contact us via info@urbancommunityprojects.org.uk should you have any questions or concerns.

Our office at Somers Town Community Centre will be taken over for emergency services and our staff will be working remotely from home over the next 12 weeks. Whilst our office is closed you will still be able to contact us through our normal channels, so please stay connected!

Thank you for your understanding as we adapt to this unprecedented situation.

Stay connected and follow our latest news and updates.
