Make a Donation Urgent COVID-19 Appeal

Your support really matters

During this unprecedented time we need your support more than ever. With supermarket shelves empty we anticipate an increased demand for the service. We’ve responded by increasing our efforts, joining forces with other local food banks and working hard to support people in real need.

We need your support more than ever! Please keep donating, your community needs you.

Here’s how you can support us

  • Donate what you can, 1 tin out your shopping adds up and could go to a family that really needs our help.

  • Volunteer and help us to sort donated food, pack emergency food parcels and deliver food on local estates.

  • Become a delivery volunteer. At a time where the elderly are required to self isolate its vital we stay connected and provide easy access to the food bank.

  • Help us to appeal for donations by promoting the food bank across your social media accounts and to your family, friends and colleagues.

Quality and Safety Standards

We only gift food that is within its use by date and can only accept food donations where the packaging is fully intact and unopened.

Where and When can you donate

We’ve temporarily moved into The Saint Pancras and Somers Town Living Centre, 2 Ossulston Street, Kings Cross, London NW1 1FD.

We’re still appealing for food donations and have extended our opening hours to meet this unprecedented increase in need. Please keep donating every Monday - Thursday between 10am - 12pm. Unfortunately you will not be permitted to enter the centre for your safety and the safety of our staff and volunteers. You will be asked to kindly leave your donation in a bag outside the entrance and we will collect it once you are a safe distance to do so.

How CAN YOU find out what we need

During this pandemic we’re asking for store cupboard items, pasta, rice, cereals, tea and coffee. We have also seen an increased demand for sanitary and cleaning products. Check out our emergency food shopping list for what we really need the most. For the latest updates check out our Facebook and Twitter pages.

other ways you can donate

If you’d like to support our COVID-19 emergency response service, but can’t spare the time to get involved, we always welcome financial contributions, no matter how big or small. Check out our JustGiving page and feel free to make a financial donation which we’ll use to support the food bank.
